Thank goodness I did not read the reviews posted before I saw the movie! A lot of reviews (including this page) will tell you waaayyyy too much about the film, and it just plain embarrassing. But, as an avid cinephile, I promise I will not same.Memento is one of those images that are sitting in the theater when the lights come up, so you can talk about what they thought the film. This is a very clever and original brain teaser that will have you guessing from beginning to end, and afterwards as well. The story and direction are the best ive seen so far this year, and it deserves the reputation that gets.Plainly put, the film tells the story of Leonard Shelby: a man who has lost his short term memory attack, where his wife was raped and murdered, and now looking for a murderer, despite his disability. Simple as that. You dont know anymore.The film is made and tell so that you are always put in the shoes of Leonard Shelby, Guy Pierce played well. Carrie-Ann Moss gives the same mysterious and complicated operation. This film is a good hit all the way around - managing, editing, and above all a unique history that is rarely found in Hollywood these days. Four Stars This review was perhaps a little dry on the details, but go see a movie - you'll thank me later.PS! Go to the official website when you see the movie. It will also be too away.
