If you want to get something like the best of the Tom Clancy Jack Ryan series (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Sum of All Fears) and mixed in taking the best parts of the only good movie Rambo (First Blood) Shooter. Shooter is a smart, interesting and enjoyable of all the action that never pulls its punches and always surprises you when you least expect it.Mark Whalberg plays the role of Bob Lee Swagger, a former military sniper who left the army after the disastrous mission where his best friend and spotter amazed when they left behind. Three years later, he was hired by Colonel (played with gusto Danny Glover) to find out how a murder suspect, will try to kill more than a mile away, a shot that few could make the president. Figure Swagger, as it happens, and will be asked to find a sniper on site supervision. But on the day of the alleged murder, Swagger is set up with an attack that kills visiting diplomat. Swagger then left to hunt, trying to prove his innocence.Shooter turns with an extensive plot, which is very convincing, though, of course, writers wimp and take the cheap way of drawing the international oil into the story (I can not think writers of the original plot device?). However, this is unlikely to disadvantage as the rest of the movie at home. The film really puts you in the shoes sniper and gives an impressive overview of mentality to be as accurate as any of the character Swagger.The only real distraction in the film, Elias Koteas, whose performance is severe psycho and does not fit into the film, and Kate Mara, who have little in common the whole film, but seem upset or in distress. The film could have done without the characters or their respective actors. Also part of the nature of the relationship seem forced at the time, particularly in the relationship between Michael Pe? In a sign of Nick Memphis and his agent Lourdes FBI, played by Rhona Mitra. They almost easy camaraderie comes off as less convincing.Overall, Shooter certainly delivers as entertaining thrill ride that will definitely not least simplified. If you want a smart thriller with lots of impressive play gun and several sophisticated, exciting scenes to download, Shooter for you and let you down. 7.6 out of 10
