Review:
I went to see this movie with my wife and, after entering the room, immediately became uncomfortable. Only one other person on the screen, and he was obviously feeling a little out of place, as well (although he seemed pleased to see me walk in). I expect teen soap opera, but what the film provided is completely different. The film is more like a modern version of Little Women in their teens or of Dead Poets Society. In other words, something I havent seen any signs of it for decades .... target teenage drama intelligent. My solution has seen this movie is similar to how I felt after seeing the Babe. I know this is a strange comparison, but both are intelligent and thoughtful films aimed at the target audience, which usually is fed cinematic trash. Elements of good movies are displayed in detail here. Acting strong, sure grip directing, great writing .... Everything that makes the movie great. If you are a teenager, or have one in your life, it is absolutely must-see movie. If you do, you will always have a good time.
