Heaven help me! I love this movie, now I'm going to be one of the few who did. As you can see from the other reviews, a lot of people did not like this movie, so why do I have? 1. I went with low expectations - I was expecting something awful, boring, long and pointless, but in spite of myself I like it, I laughed at the jokes, I linked to the actors (yes, Rihanna), I am excited about the action and how Cliche? conspiring with my interest 2. The actors did a good job, they got - Taylor Kitsch did a good job, Rihanna was not so bad, I dare say, well, in her role. She was there, she did not try to chew scenery, she works as an actor / secondary character, and it did not bother me. I'm doing it kudos3. lost in translation? You are trying to make a play in the movie, and you want to put part of their game in it? It's not easy, a bit cheesy? Of course, but fun? Yes, fun, tasty, and in the end it was a part of the story, as if it could be forced. So finally, the battle is fun, corny, a typical summer movie that I like, but if you see a lot of people. I think it's a guilty pleasure, something to be enjoyed by the few, but annoying others. In the end, I can only recommend it - go in with low expectations, expecting a little over the top patriotism as the Act of Valor (but not as heavy), and do not think about it. The film is not without flaws or questionable logic, but that is also in the film - I suggest you not to think about it and just enjoy the ride
