Review:
All great gangster film by currents of human drama. Do not expect the emotional story of guilt, revenge and despair of Scarface. This is the story of a fierce greed, corruption and power. The dark side of the legendary American Dream.Anybody complain about the cheesiness of this film are missing the point. Characters surface, cheese music, fashion and dating extra fuel criticism of this life of surplus diabolical. Nothing in the lives of these characters are important, not every human being at least. The film actually practice within satire, irony considering all the gangsta rappers who have been inspired by the positive lifestyle is not Tony Montana. This Brian DePalmas strongest directorial effort from time to time outstanding grip and good (particularly memorable finale), but sank sloppy and misleading. Fortunately, it is supported by very strong scenario Oliver Stone (therapy probably him well, considering he was dealing coke used at the time). These themes are consistent with the focus on the life of Tony Montana, and the development of his character, as he is consumed by greed and power. The dialogue is also very good, convenient seesaw between humor and drama. There are many lines that are free from striking their way into popular culture in one form or another. The voices helped to make it what it is, but it's really a film Acinos. One of his earliest great lunch (something far more frequently than nowadays), this is a wholly other than a Michael Corleone and Frank Serpico. And yet, he likes to watch here, as always, very entertaining (and deliberately over-the-top) form. It's hard to imagine another Tony Montana, after seeing this movie is probably one of the greatest performances ever emulate. Pfeiffer stood out as boring and uncomfortable at first viewing, but I've come to realize how it is played by some bored woman. It is not extremely hard, but unjustly underrated. The supporting players are also very good, especially Paul Shenar well Alejandro Sosa.Powerful, by turns funny, shocking, controversial and continuously. Scarface is one of the films of the eighties (whatever that means to you). Essential and affordable gangster flick, and pop culture landmark. 9.10
