As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster. - Henry Hill, Brooklyn, NY 1955.Gangsters is all around us. Everyone knows it, everyone will accept. Goodfellas - Based on true events - see life gangsters, events through the eyes of Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) who gets involved with the mafia at a young age and continues chronicling his career through ; film.As he gets older, he got married and have children, but still works for organized crime family under mob boss paulie (Paul Sorvino), and a friend Jimmy (Robert De Niro), calm, steady criminals, and Tommy (Joe Pesci), a wild man with serious mental problems. By the end of the life of Henry goes down the gutter, leading to drug abuse and paranoia, which leads to other unfortunate incidents if I'm able to do is them.Goodfellas more about one of the best movies I've ever seen. A journey of force breathtaking pictures, funny script, great acting and realistic violence.Robert De Niro gives one of his best performances - always - as Jimmy, even if hes not in the movie as much as you might be lead to believe that the initial cover.Joe Pesci in this movie about as much as De Niro, maybe, but more or less. But when he's on screen, there's no doubt he's on the screen - he's very difficult to miss. Short, deranged, loud-mouthed man with something in his head. Someone insult towards him and he shoots them, and then laughed. A quite confusing. I'm a big fan of Pesci and I tend to love their characters, but it really makes you feel sick anyway; li part Goodfellas, but at the same time take a strange liking to him. It just goes to show how good an actor Pesci is.Ray perfect Liotta as Henry Hill. I can not think of a better actor to play him. It takes a sense of innocence yet at the same time a feeling of violence. I love the scene where he goes into a mans house with the expression on his face. What do you want, f & * ^ &? Asks the man. Liotta continued walking, picking up a gun and you consistently beating the man on the head with a gun butt. As Henry walks back to his car, his face is distracting and periods notify you for a long, long time great director Scorsese time.Martin HE and his work, r fabulous, be recreated with other directors (ie, Paul Thomas Anderson in Boogie Nights) and there's a reason: Great stuff respectively. He deserved to get totals for Best Director in 1990, but of course it did not. (Rumor has it Scorsese Academy frowns on the use of racial slurs in his work Oh boo hoo, get over it ..) The Film n make based on this, = nn-crime memoirs of the real Henry Hill, the novel by Nicholas Pileggi - were adapted into a screenplay by Pileggi and Scorsese - Wiseguys. The book itself was great and informative, but the script is even better. The dialogue is incredible.Anyway, Goodfellas has become one of the best movies I've seen - a true modern classic that will be remembered for what it is T ; this: One of the stories told on the screen. Offer can not be denied!
