The Hurt Locker is a serious character study and elegant, tense action thriller in once.The object itself - the work of specialist bomb, perhaps one of the most nerve-racking jobs in the world - get the skeptical but Bigelow manages to squeeze every ounce of film tension premise.This me very apolitical - although set in Iraq, it differs from most of the Iraq war-themed films It focuses more on the work itself, not political environment. Iraq looks more like a script - any other war I, The Hurt Locker does not preach about a specifically.The deeply emotional story describing fully impaired persons hell. Jeremy Renner gives an incredibly powerful performance as an officer EOD completely addicted to the adrenaline flowing from his daily close shaves with death.All aspects of film art class, of great subversive scenario vivid cinematography, directing and editing master perfect speed. In their stories filmmakers wisely broke with the traditional Hollywood narrative strategy. No obvious contender, not increase, there was nothing obvious character development and climax. Still, the film manages to be more interesting, tense and intense than any Hollywood action thriller I've seen in years, while strong but subtle statement about crazy addiction to war. Kudos to all the participants of this film without compromising.This is pure quality, cinematic storytelling at its best, and human thinking action.
